PADI Advanced Open Water Course Schedule
We do not have a fixed schedule for when these courses are run. This training is provided on demand meaning that we begin on a day which is convenient to you.
Furthermore there is not need to make the dives consecutively – if you want to break it up then just let us know your ideal schedule and we’ll create an adaptive programme to suit you.
We do not wait until we have a full class before scheduling a course meaning that frequently our students are 1:1 with their instructor.
Each day begins at 09:00. If you wish to complete the course in two days then you’ll finish each day at 17:00. If you’d prefer to split the course over three days then you’ll finish each day at 15:00.

What’s involved?
The course comprises 5 dives, typically completed over two days. During each of these dives you will explore a different aspect of diving with your instructor right by your side making sure that you get the most out of your two days together. Unlike the Open Water course there is no classroom time – just lots of diving!
Although each dive has its own particular focus; throughout this course it is the job of your instructor to make sure that you develop the breadth of your knowledge and ability so that by the end you truly are an ‘Advanced’ diver. For this reason it is recommended that you sign up for the Advanced Course as soon as possible after completing the Open Water.
Referrals
The PADI Advanced Open Water course is completely modular and standardised meaning that every time you complete one dive of the course your instructor will make a record of this. If you become ill or have to stop training for any reason then we will give you a ‘referral document’ which details exactly what you have and haven’t done. You will have one year in which to take this referral document to any PADI dive centre worldwide, and you can pick up where you left off.
PADI Adventure Diver
If you are short on time and cannot spend 2 days completing the full Advanced Course, then why not look at the PADI Adventure Diver Course or any of our PADI Specialties which can be completed in just one day.
Are you fit to dive?
There are certain pre-existing medical conditions which can increase the health risks associated with diving. Before commencing any PADI programmes if is necessary to first review and complete PADI’s Medical Statement. If you answer ‘No’ to every question listed here then you are ready to begin. If you answer ‘Yes’ to any questions on this questionnaire then you must first visit your doctor and receive a certificate stating that you are fit to dive.
