Instructor Development Courses are run twice a year in November and May and are timed to prepare candidates for the Instructor Exam held here in Tenerife immediately after the course. The full range of Instructor courses are available, including Staff Instructor, Assistant Instructor, EFR Instructor and all Specialities leading to MSDT.
Our next Instructor Development Course commences November 2007 and lasts for 7 days. It will be run by resident Course Director, David Taylor. The course comprises two parts: Assistant Instructor (AI) and Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI). Upon successful completion of the course you will be invited to attend the Instructor Exam (IE).

Be certified as a PADI Divemaster or hold a leadership level certification with another recreational diver training organisation.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Submit medical clearance for diving signed by a physician, this must be current within the last 12 months. The physician signing the declaration cannot be the applicant.
Have been a certified diver for at least 6 months and have completed and logged 60 scuba dives showing experience of night, deep and navigation dives. Please note to attend the PADI Instructor Examination the candidate must have 100 logged dives.
