Hi, everybody My son and I have just returned from a fantastic week completing the Open Water Diver Course. Firstly I would like to thank Paul our instructor, for his professionalism, patience and dedication to a job he obviously enjoys. Everything was explained in such a way that even I, a complete beginner, found easy to understand. The facilities and quality of the diving equipment was second to none, Every single member of staff was more than willing to make us feel welcome, and they're sense of humour still has me smiling to myself. The beauty of the marine life was magnificent to see in its natural environment. On one particular dive i was astonished to see what i though was a Giant Manatee as i reached for the camera it swam nearer, but it turned out to be Gay Ray practicing his neutral buoyancy! Once again Thank you, i can see why your Rated PADI 5* We're planning on returning soon to take the Advanced Diver Cert and rest assured we wont be going anywhere else but AquaMarina!

Sincerely Geoff Smith, UK

Hi guys and Girls, Just got home after a great week in Tenerife. Made ever so more special by you folks helping me to complete my Advanced open water. Amazing dives all so different and rewarding. The only criticism is with myself for losing the charm in convincing my wife to go diving to 'Neptunes' on the Wednesday. Thank Mike for his tuition and Emma for picking me up at 8.50 (sorry you didn't get a lay in). Neil, I hope you found everything you needed on the pc in the end; and Rona, I'm still in awe at your fire breathing! Palm mar cave was amazing for someone not going below 18mtrs. The change in colour and life, the contrast in barron waste land to life congregated around the cave and wall. Then to the Condesito, awash with colour and interaction of all sorts of species. Bugged the hell out of the wife all week describing each minute of each of the dives. Just brilliant! Then each time I came back, hot/cold drinks and at the end of the day hot showers! The first day I was shocked by just how much you provide. If any one needed a reference please feel free to send my email address! To end my 'war and peace' comments all I can say is that considering you were a 3 hour flight I need to start planning and saving, so I can come back and dive the rest of the locations. Until then I'm gonna be sending emails to the friends I met at Aqua Marina and hopefully share some pictures and stories. Thanks for all your hard work and making my short stay with you most enjoyable. I hope to see you all again. Very best wishes

Hi Guys, Thanks again for re-wakening my diving interests after a break 20 years, it was excellent to dive again and with a great friendly crew. If we come back to Tenerife, I will definitely be seeing you all for a full program of drives. Many Thanks

Hello to All at Aqua Marina!!!! Thanks for some great dives. A dive centre to be recommended to all. Hope to come back again!!!!

Mikhail (Russia)

Hello to everyone at Aqua Marina. I had a wonderful time during my 3 days and 8 dives in July. While the dives were outstanding the crew at Aqua Marina is what stands out for me. From picking me up at my hotel to sharing better ways to handle my equipment, not to mention the humor. I especially liked the UK vs Dutch jokes. Aqua Marine YOU ROCK!

Earnie , California USA

Thanks for a lovely days diving - It was great to see the Atlantic Ray, Leopard Moray & Green Turtles and the visibility was great!!! The kids enjoyed the snorkelling too! We'd certainly recommend diving in the Canaries and using Aqua Marina, and hope to see you again sometime.

Dear All, I was looking over the tributes on your website and realised I had not submitted a Guest Book entry. I would like to say a biig thanks for a brilliant time. AquaMarina were brilliant right from the time I first met up with the team at Hotel Aguamar. The approach is amazingly professional and friendly, The hire equipment is excellent and the support puts everyone at their ease. When I got back to Scotland I could think of little else and enquired about training at home. For the price of PADI in Aberdeen I can fly to Teneriffe and do it in the warm beautiful waters of the Canaries and still have change!! In fact I liked it so much I have booked another holiday in November to come and do my Open Water Course, even got my fins already. AquaMarina.....Great Team Great Fun. See you in November All the Best

Hi Madge, Just thought we'd drop you a quick note to thank you for a great time when we dived with you a couple of weeks ago. We meant to email as soon as we got home but things have been back to our usual hectic lifestyle since we returned. We have to say that all the staff where great fun and very professional. Had we known the standard of your dive kit we may even have reduced the amount of our own we took. All the dives we did were very well briefed and lead and the fantastic vis made them a total pleasure. Above and below water we were made to feel very welcome even if the threat of occasionally being dowsed in "foot juice" by Ray was a constant post dive hazard. Please pass our thanks on to Mike, Ray, Emma (our fellow scouser), Paul and to Rhona who we didn't get a chance to see before we left. We look forward to diving with you again next time we visit and will have no hesitation in recommending you to our dive club friends. I've attached a few compressed snaps for your gallery, so I hope your broadband is up and running again.

Thanks again, Trevor & Paula, UK

Wow! Had a really great time diving with you in Tenerife. Beautiful dive sites with lots of interesting life. Especially enjoyed seeing some large grouper and a nice angel shark. Mats, thanks for making the advanced course fun for us and for your patience. Next time we won't try to swim to Las Palmas. Rhona, You make a mean cup of tea. I will remember to take a china cup next time. Your enthusiasm for diving was infectious. Thanks for looking after us. Ray, thanks for your advice and for your company. I hope one day you make it back to Scotland to dive Scapa. Neil, I will seriously think about that Dive Computer. I've got the 30 euros saved. All I need now is the other 500! lol. Thanks for arranging things so well for us. Anyone who is thinking of diving in Tenerife, please dive with Aqua-marina. You will be in safe hands and are guaranteed to have a great time! See you next time we are in Tenerife for our Rescue Diver course!

Steve & Karen, Scotland

Hello! And thank you for my five good dives in Tenerife. I already miss them. And I miss the wonderful turtles. Say hello to my favourite turtles when you see them next time! And say hello to my favourite divemasters Emma and Mia! Now I'm back home again and after one week's work I spent some days in my summer home in the archipelago but I didn't want to go diving there this time. The water is still too cold. But I'll start my "Finnish diving season" in May. I made an 18 minute dvd from the video clips that I shot during my five dives in Tenerife with my little Canon Powershot camera and I just watched it. Ooh, I miss those dives! And I made a shorter video for my friends to see on YouTube. I hope I will come back to Tenerife soon. And then I would like to dive much more. And I'd like to shoot lots of video with my new underwater video gear.

To all at Aqua Marina, especially Ray and Matt, Just wanted to go on record with my thoughts about your outfit. FANTASTIC! I dropped in unannounced and had a trial dive with Ray, it was great, he even arranged for a turtle to come and say "Hi". I was really impressed with everyone, the atmosphere was great very friendly and easy going, I felt comfortable straight away.. BUT it was still very very professional. I decided to upgrade from "Scuba diver" to "Open Water" and came over for 2 more days. Matt was great what a cool guy, sadly I was not so cool, remember the "foot sensation" Matt? The last 2 dives with Ray were super, what a crazy Dutchman! Great fun and a brilliant instructor. So what is it that makes "Aqua Marina" so good? easy THE PEOPLE ! Thanks too to Emma for picking me up so promptly and Paul on the boat, yet another cool guy. Hope to see you all again.

Steve, UK

Hi guys, thanks for a great couple of dives. Friendly staff, great team. I would highly recommend aqua-marina to other divers. Look forward to seeing you all in the summer.

Gordon, sunny Scotland

Thank you everyone for thirteen wonderful days of scuba diving! I saw many things, turtles, stingrays, moray eels, black coral, etc (and I'm certain one day I'll see those octopi I missed all those days). I learned a lot from all of you, but especially Ray. I'm much more confident now underwater and will certainly return to do the Nightdiving speciality - I know how much Ray enjoys diving at night with newbies :-)

Remmelt, The Netherlands

Like many of your regular clients I could go anywhere on holiday to enjoy the delights of diving, but I will keep coming back to Tenerife to go diving with your team at Aqua Marina because it's about more than just the dives. I enjoy the atmosphere surrounding each dive, the informative but fun pre-dive briefings, the jokes on the boat, the relaxed (yet safety conscious attitude of the dive leaders), and the post-dive discussions about the sharks, dolphins, whales, rays, etc that we see. It's all just done in a slightly different way from other centres and it makes it special. You have the ability to attract the best people there and any new staff seem to fit in to your way of working quite easily. I am delighted to be part of your "club" and can't wait to come back soon. If you had a suggestions box, here is what I would add:

- Get the staff some singing lessons (they are so bad they would all easily make it onto "The worst of X factor" should they ever apply. - Fill Mats's tank with air rather than his current mix of something that causes him to be so nuts. He says he is just high on life but how can someone be like that all of the time? - Please warn us about the size of sea creatures we are going to see beforehand. I nearly **** myself when I realised how big the atlantic rays and angel sharks were the first time I saw them. I wouldn't have left myself so isolated from my buddy had I known. And some tips for any divers using Aqua Marina for the first time: - Don't get there too early in the morning before the dive as you'll end up making the tea for everyone. If you do, make a mess of it the first time and you'll not be asked again. Works for me. - On saying this, don't be late. If you are late to arrive or late in getting your kit on, Mia will not be happy and she's not someone you want to upset. Under that cheeky laugh there's a hard instructor so beware because her bite is much worse than her bark! - If you need something fixed (except boats) ... ask Neil - If you need something explained (in any language I think) ... ask Ray - If you want to be guaranteed to see a particular creature underwater ... ask Paul (how does he manage to find so many things?) - If you want to be amused (in fact laugh out loud) ... see Mats - If you want to be taken care of in a polite (on most days) and professional manner ... see Rhona - If you want to learn to be a rescue diver "the hard way" ... see Mia (but you'll never forget what she tells you !!!!) - If you want the best diving experience with great people ... see Aqua Marina

Thanks for everything and I'll see you all soon

p.s. Mine is a tea ... milk and no sugar thanks

Allan, Scotland

Top notch 5* training for my Open Water Diving last week. Not many people get a personal trainer for the week, cheers Mike! I'm another new convert to this addictive underwater hobby and will definitely continue to dive. Thanks again Aqua Marina.

Steve, UK

Thank you once again for looking after me again on my recent visit. This was my third visit and your professionalism and kindness was as thorough as ever. You're all great fun and I look forward to seeing you all again. Fond regards

Hi! This is Maria Nilsson from Sweden who did two dives with Aqua-Marina week 44. I just want to say hi to Rhona and my other diving instructor who was from Sweden, sorry forgot your name. Both dives were fantastic, but the first one with the Sea turtles was something extra. I?m 13 years old soon 14. I promise I will come back this year if not before, definitely week 44. As far as my experience go I recommend Aqua-Marina. I was the youngest in the groups. The instructors and everybody else was really nice. Bye for now!

Maria, Sweden
