Hi everyone,

I just wanted to thank you all for the great diving I had during my latest visit.

I managed 8 dives even though it wasn’t strictly a diving holiday. It’s always a pleasure to dive there and the staff make it fun too. Their banter gets everyone at ease and make for a very friendly atmosphere. Paul’s fixation with yellow panels on wetsuits is a worry and a few of us tried to de-sensitise him without success.

This was my 4th time diving with Aqua Marina and, because it’s so popular with “regulars”, I always meet old friends and buddies. This year I was pleased to find that I was there at the same time a Dave G who I had dived with previously. We buddied up for most of my dives. I just wish I’d had a full month there like him!

Dave pointed his camera my way a few times and hopefully he’ll be sending me a disk sometime soon. I’m sure there will be some good pictures there and I’ll share some of them with you as soon as I can.

Tenerife is my favorite holiday destination even without the diving. Yet it’s worth going just for the diving so it’s the best of both worlds for me. This trip will be memorable for racking up my deepest dive to date. Sadly it’s not recorded on my own computer because I managed to leave that at home.

I will be back, hopefully next year. Maybe even early next year!
