Getting around

On foot and by cab

If you are staying in Los Cristianos or Las Americas and don’t plan any sightseeing involving self drive, then the best way to get about is on foot.

Driving locally can be slow and stressful and street parking after 09:00 a question of extreme good fortune, (you will pay approx 1 Euro per hour for one of the underground car parks). Everything you are likely to need is within walking distance.

If you are feeling a bit too tired, metered licensed cabs are plentiful and reasonable in price.

By bike

If you are staying close to the beach where it is flat then hiring a bike can be a good way to get around. We have town bikes, mountain bikes and kids bikes for hire at 9€ per day or 45€ per week.

By bus

There are bus stations in the centre of Los Cristianos and the edge of Las Americas. The buses are easy to use and cheap, but don’t come right into the centre of Las Americas. Timetables may or may not work in your favour, but it’s worth checking.
